What i know is that, Going to the gym is not for everyone, but no one can deny that it is important to do at least three workouts per week which go for thirty minutes or longer. It's hard for the average couch potato to accept, but once you start to exercise regularly, you will be amazed at the benefits. After not long, you have more energy and more strength. You will have more coordination and stamina. Your mood improves, and you feel happier and more content. Stress at work becomes easier to manage. And, who can deny that long term, you will live longer and have a healthier life.

Something important to consider, whether you choose to go to the gym or whether you choose to participate in a sport, is that you include a mixture of cardiovascular activity (e.g. jogging) with weight-bearing activity (e.g. lifting weights). You must do both to remain fit and healthy. Increasing your strength by doing weight-bearing exercise increases your muscle strength and bone density- an extremely important thing for women. Women need to increase their bone density by doing weight bearing exercise as much as possible before they reach the age of thirty. After this time, most weight-bearing exercise will only maintain the bone density that they currently have. That is why going to a gym is extremely important for a woman to help prevent osteoporosis.

    Today my trainer mentioned that the weight you can lift or bench press doesn’t matter if you don’t have the right technique. In fact, for many exercises having the wrong technique can really hinder its effects and may even hurt you.     I want to start weight lifting to gain some muscle mass and look better... The problem is that I have no friends and have no one to go with... I am skinny, small, and weak so how does a person like me go to the gym without getting intimidated, hurt, and confused...?

    I am hoping that if I improve my physical appearance, I may be able to meet new people and maybe get a girl friend... I have been suffering from depression and loneliness for a while and hope that the gym can help me cope with it.

    You don't have to go to gym to control your weight, best way to do it is to eat fruits in the morning, exercise for example going for a walk in the park because you'll need fresh air, then eat vegetables.
