MENTAL DISORDER AND DEMON POSSESSED..!

A Mental disorder and Demon possessed  is a dangerous illness because he/she is not in control of himself. When a person has no empathy for others and no controlling sense of right or wrong, everyone around that person is at risk. Religion books speaks of demonic possession in a number of places,1 but it does not differentiate between mental illness and demonic possession.

To me demon's are something of a negative energy, and people who are or have this sort of energy tend to wanna get it out of themselves. Being possessed may be an extreme way of looking at this form of energy that may build up within a person. I don't believe there is an existing form of a living or none living being of a demon, but it can be argued by many that there is. This is based on my opinion alone, not research or studies. I think people exhibit many levels of energies that are truly in existence. Positive, negative and neutral all exist within people, so depending on what they have absorbed will tend to be the think that will be displayed, especially if held back long enough.

Oh! Yes it's me again Sporah, what more can l say after giving me this opportunity again.

Now Joyline your a psychodynamic pasychothecapist or a mental health practitioner, since we had a chat with you about mental illness, a lot of our viewers have sent us comments and questions some of which only a practitioner can answer thus the more reason we called you in again. I think you have been checking us out yourself and see how people are being devastated by this illness worldwide.

Oh! yes Sporah, and thanks for your help to have this topic again because this is another way of reaching out, God bless you, so many people are being affected by this issue families have been broken, talents have been robbed way, a lot of people locked up as result of MENTAL ILLNESS.

As a result, many of them end up on Street.

Not only that, So many people have committed suicide what more can i say!!? Sporah its going too far and i can't tell what's happening and what we are doing wrong to prevent mental illness take more lives.

I feel sick myself whenever i read this kind of issues happening to our brothers and sisters, mostly younger one,  which can be prevented at this modern times.

That's the fact Sporah.

We have been filming on streets asking people how they fill about it, how it has affected them, how you people in this profession have failed to understand how to go about it, questions and answers are there to see but in my view communication is the problem.

I admit we have a communication problem especially in the ethic minority communities where it is mostly common due to a lot going on in those communities like stress coused by immigrating to a new life, financial stress, loneliness not knowing there is help, lots and lots is being swept under the capet due to our cultural believes making it problematic to go around mental illness, but in my veiw one admiting that he or she is sick and need help is the bottom line so to start treatment.

I really want you to watch the show today and see comments from those communities your talking about, one from Asian, one from African, one was born here but has Caribbean backgraund, two European and  u will take a very good lesson out of it.

This is why most people take so long before seeking for professional help because they believe it is a Demon possessed.

Sporah if we can get a plat form like this "SPORAH SHOW" we can do more, because a lot of people are not reachable by normal means or fear to come out or seek help because of the stigmatised attached to mental illness

Thanks Sporah and am ready to share my story with you today.

 First take me back to your childhood times for me to understand this illness

To be honestly I had a happy childhood life like any other child could be, i started having depression when i was a teenager thus when my world begun crushing around me and it was diagnosed years later.

At this point of time at-least we all get stressed, depression or filling low at times, what was it in your case?

How can I explain this? I could see so many people surrounding me even when am alone in a room.

Did you try to talk to your Family or anybody close to you?

Sporah in my case it was like every one in my family was against me, i felt like they want to kill me so all I was doing was to fight back, all I could see was negative, it was taking me to an extent that even somebody on a TV is talking negative about me.

Aw..! so even seen people on TV...!!

It was very bad.

Some people believe that mentally ill are possessed by demons.

Oh..! Just recently I saw on the news on how one child was killed by his close family under the perception that the child had Demons, I couldn't believe it

How did you feel watching that on The National Television

I was Shocked. 

Is there any colour that were again sting your life..?

Oh yeah, at that time whenever i could see any colour white I could go mad even at points when am by myself i could fight

When it happened, is there anytime when your appearence/voice change or speaking completly different language that you can NOT speak  in your normal life?

Yeah! I remember something like that, my family used to say during that time I was sounding deferent that my accent even changed.

So what do you think we can do.

I think what people need is Education, Thats all Sporah because this is something that can be cured.
