"I'VE NEVER BEEN TO REHAB" I HAVE CLOSE TO TWENTY CAR'S - YEEES, IT'S UGANDA SUPER MODEL - JUDITH HEARD.

Super Ex Model -Judith Heard
" I would like to stop smoking"

Socialite and former model Judith Heard has it all. From her marriage to a wealthy American medic - Alex Heard - through her A-list parties to her cat fights with celebrities and everything in between, Heard simply lives large.

The Sporah Magazine in its bid to promote talent from the motherland, this time had an opportunity to interview Judith Heard, a Ugandan born former model, mother, wife and to crown it all a business woman.

FAMILY &AND LIFESTYLE
SMag: HELLO JUDITH , IN ONE SENTENCE, WHO IS JUDITH HEARD IN HER OWN WORDS?
Judith: I am a down to earth and happily married, part Rwandese and part Ugandan, mother of three children.

SMag: PLEASE TELL US,  WHAT WERE YOU LIKE WHEN AS A KID?
Judith: I was very quiet, shy and respectful person. People don't realise it but I'm still very quiet and shy.

SMag: A MODEL, A HOUSEWIFE, A DESIGNER, A MOTHER, AND A SOCIALITE ALL IN ONE, HOW ON EARTH DO YOU BALANCE YOUR LIFE?
Judith: In one word, it's priorities. My husband and my children are my first priority. My career comes next and social activities are a distant third.

Judith Heard's Valentine wish was an Audi Q7 and what Alex Heard did was to
grant her wish.
SMag: WHAT IS A DAY IN YOUR LIFE LIKE? WHAT DO YOU DO FROM THE TIME YOU WAKE, UP TO THE TIME YOU HIT THE SACK?
Judith: When I'm in Uganda, my schedule is different than it is in the US. Here I first get my children ready and take them to school. Then I spend time with my husband and family. My mother and two sisters live with us. Then it's off to the shop. Sometimes in the evening, I'm invited to attend a social function or one for charity. My husband and I enjoy having dinner together and occasionally listening to a little music. When I'm in the US, I am working at building the business there and taking care of it's operation and management.

SMag: YOU HAVE BEEN QUITE A FAMOUS PERSON EVEN BEFORE YOU STARTED DESIGNING. IN YOUR OWN WORDS, WHAT DO YOU THINK MAKES YOU SO FAMOUS?
Judith: Simply stated, if someone in Uganda enjoys a life that has been blessed as mine has, the media try to turn that person into a celebrity so they can have someone to sell stories about. Fame is something thrust upon you here by the media.

SMag: COULD YOU TELL US SOMETHING THAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU? IT MIGHT NOT NECESSARILY BE A SECRET BUT PERHAPS NO ONE HAS EVER ASKED YOU ABOUT IT? (it might mean nothing to you but could be news for others, particularly those who are keen to know you even better).
Judith: God plays an important part in my life. His word is a constant source of encouragement to me. With all the stories that have been created, most people probably don't know that. Nor do they know that my husband and I help a lot of orphans.

SMag: BEING IN THE LIMELIGHT AND MARRIED TO A WHITE AMERICAN YOU UNDOUBTEDLY HAVE INSPIRED MANY YOUNG UGANDAN WOMEN TO THINK OF OR EVEN WISH HAVING AN INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIP. HOW EASY OR HARD IS IT   FOR A COUPLE FROM DIFFERENT RACIAL AND CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS TO HIT IT OFF TOGETHER?
Judith: Any relationship will have its challenges. But my marriage is about love, not color or the other things people mention. My husband and I love each other deeply. That's why we are happy together.

SMag: HAVE  YOU EVER HAD SOMEONE FROM YOUR PAST TRY TO TRACK YOU DOWN AFTER REALIZING NOW FAMOUS AND BUG THE STAR OUT OF YOU..!
Judith: No. I'm still friends with those I was raised with. Most people have been very kind.

SMag: WHICH TV OR RADIO PERSONALITY JUST MAKES YOU WONDER HOW THEY GOT WHERE THEY ARE TODAY?
Judith: I'm happy for everyone who has made it.

SMag: WHAT QUESTIONS ARE YOU FREQUENTLY  ASKED? (And/or what question makes you crazy whenever asked, but somehow  you remain composed enough to answer?)
Judith: I don't like questions that indicate that the person already has their mind made up without getting the facts first. No one likes to be judged wrongly. But you learn to live with it.

SMag: IF YOU COULD CHANGE SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD IT BE & WHY?
Judith: I would like to stop smoking. It's not good a good habit.

SMag: DO YOU TAKE ALCOHOL? IF YES, (WHEN WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU HAD A DRINK)? WHAT HAPPENED?
Judith: I do drink in moderation. It took me a while to learn that I don't handle alcohol real well. I'm not a big person. I do better when I drink only a little.

SMag. NAME 5 OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN YOUR LIFE?
Judith: My husband, my children, my mom and sisters, our businesses and my personal integrity.

Judith Heard her Dr. Alex Heard

SMag: IF YOU WERE ANYONE ELSE BESIDES YOURSELF, WHO WOULD YOU BE (EVEN FOR JUST A DAY ON A GOOD DAY OF COURSE)
Judith: I know that you expect me to name some celebrity but really, I'm happy being me.

SMag: WHAT IS THAT ONE THING YOU HAVEN’T DONE IN YOUR LIFE BUT YOU’RE STILL DETERMINED TO DO?
Judith: we help a number of orphans now but I would someday like to have my own orphanage.

SMag: WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH?
Judith: I enjoy good humor and comedy.

SMag: WHAT IS THE MOST ROMANTIC THING A GUY HAS EVER DONE FOR YOU?
Judith: Of course, that would be when my husband asked me to marry him. The romantic holidays that we have taken together have also been incredible.

SMag: WHAT TURNS YOU ON CREATIVELY, SPIRITUALLY OR EMOTIONALLY? WHAT TURNS YOU OFF?
Judith: I appreciate people being sincere, genuine and honest. I don't like it when I see someone running game or trying to work an angle. I don't care much for those who use others.

SMag: NAME YOUR THREE CLOSEST FRIENDS, OKAY..! WHICH ONE IS YOUR VERY BEST FRIEND?
Judith: It wouldn't be fair to name my friends without their permission. I respect their privacy and they respect mine.

SMag: ANYONE YOU WISH YOU WERE FRIENDS WITH (AND WE PROMISE TO LET THEM KNOW ASAP,LOL!)
Judith: My friend's list is pretty full. I try to be friendly with everyone and treat all people well.

SMag: NAME YOUR 2 FAVOURITE COLOURS AND WHY?
Judith: Black and white.

SMag: HAVE YOU EVER HAD COSMETIC SURGERY? IF YES WHICH ONE AND FOR WHAT REASON (S)?
Judith: No. It's okay for those who wish to do so, but it's not for me.

SMag: WHICH THREE PHYSICAL FEATURES DO YOU GET COMPLIMENTED ON A LOT?
Judith: Eyes, legs and my height.

SMag: NAME SOMEONE YOU CAN TELL JUST ABOUT ANYTHING TO?
Judith: My mom and my husband.

SMag: TELL  US JOKE.!
Judith: I'm not a comedian. I'll let others tell the jokes. Hahaha.

SMag: YOU PROBABLY HAVE HEARD SOME PEOPLE DESPISING THOSE WHO OPEN THEIR LIVES TO THE WORLD. YOU HAVE BEEN QUITE GOOD AT MOST OF STUFF HAPPENING IN YOUR LIFE, BE IT AT HOME OR HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS OR JUST SOME PERSONAL STUFF WHICH SOME MIGHT HAVE KEPT PRIVATE. FIRST QUESTION, WHY ARE YOU SO COURAGEOUS IN DOING SO? AND SECOND,WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THE SCEPTICS?
Judith: My personal life and that of my family belongs to us and is off limits to others. Because it is, the media have often invented stories but they are not true. The ethical standards of journalism in Uganda are very low. They will make up any type of story to sell a paper no matter who they hurt.

SMag: AS WE ALL KNOW, IT’S EASIER ADVISING OTHERS THAN OURSELVES. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CHEATED ON? HOW DID YOU COPE WITH IT? AND NOW YOU’RE MARRIED, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE IF YOU WERE TO BE CHEATED ON BY YOUR HUBBY (GOD FORBID)?
Judith: I have been blessed by God to have a really good man as my husband. I was fortunate because I married him when I was young and had not been involved in a lot of bad relationships. He loves and respects me and his children and always puts us first.

Judith and her beautiful twins.

SMag: DO YOU TRUST EASILY? IF NO, WHY  NOT?
Judith: No. Trust must be earned. There are too many users in this world who will take advantage of your trust if that trust isn't deserved.

SMag: YOU ADOPTED A BABY BOY WHAT MADE  YOU ADOPT BEFORE HAVING YOUR OWN CHILDREN.
Judith: My husband and I are both orphans. I lost my dad when I was four and my husband lost his mother at the same age.

SMag: WORD IS GOING AROUND THAT IT IS YOUR PARTY LIFESTYLE THAT MADE YOU ILL. THERE ARE MEDIA REPORTS THAT YOU WENT TO REHAB IN AMERICA FOLLOWING EXCESSIVE DRINKING AND SMOKING PROBLEMS . WHAT’S THE TRUTH OF THIS MATTER.
Judith: I'm not ill. As I've said, the media in Uganda never let the truth get in the way of making up a story do they? I've never been to rehab. I was in America to launch our clothing line and to open our store. I guess that wasn't exciting enough for some editors. I also had malaria before I went to America. They accused me of everything from overdosing on drugs to alcohol poisoning to having AIDS. In any western country, I could sue for damages. Our government really should protect its citizens from these cruel attacks.

CAREER

SMag: WHO INSPIRED YOU TO BE WHO YOU’RE TODAY?
Judith: My husband and my family have been my constant source of encouragement and inspiration.

"GOD ANSWERS ALL PRAYERS"
American singer, Beyonce Knowles-Carter was spotted at a beach in Spain wearing a 2 African Girls bag by  Ugandan X-Supermodel Judith Heard from her Houston based store
Judith was so excited at least from her tweet: "God answers all prayers, Beyonce spotted carrying a 2fricangirls bag."

SMag: WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS?
Judith: The fashion design business is really going well. Already we have had people like Draya on Basketball Wives, Nicki Minaj, Keisha Cole, Keke Palmer and Beyonce going crazy over our designs and buying them. With God's help, within the next several years, we hope to have launched several stores in the major cities of the US. From there, we will look at expanding into Europe.

SMag: HAS MODELLING/ DESIGNING ENABLED YOU TO MEET PEOPLE/MAKE FRIENDS WHO YOU WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE NEVER MET/BEFRIENDED?
Judith: As in any business, what you do creates connections, some good and others not so good. I'm respectful to everyone but I realize that no matter how successful a person is, they are still human just like me.

SMag: FAME HAS IT’S PRICE. HAVE YOU EVER WISHED YOU WERE NOT AS FAMOUS AS YOU’RE?
Judith: It would not be as bad if people respected your name and didn't try to tarnish it. I have often wished that the media would simply tell the truth rather than make up the stories they publish.

SMag: DO YOU KEEP TABS ON PEOPLE WHO INSPIRED YOU/ROLE MODELS SO THAT YOU MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS REMAIN ON TOP?
Judith: I constantly try to improve my life and with God's help to make my life and the lives of those I love better. I'm not in competition with anyone else.

SMag: ARE YOU IN ANY WAY WORRIED ABOUT LOSING YOUR FAME? AND WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE SURE YOU REMAIN UNIQUELY MRS HEARD?
Judith: Fame is fickle. I didn't ask to be famous nor am I worried about losing fame. When I someday face God, I just want to have been the best me that I could be.

SMag: YOU’RE SO MUCH INTO FASHION WHO IS/ARE YOUR FAVOURITE DESIGNER (S)?
Judith: Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Dolce and Gabanna, and Giuseppe Zanoti.

SMag: TELL ME ANY NEGATIVE ASPECT(S) OF MODELLING /DESIGNING THAT YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW!
Judith: Unfortunately, models are exploited and paid very little money in Uganda. What money modeling does create is usually kept by the agencies rather than given to the models. That needs to change.

SMag: WHAT’S THE CRAZIEST THING YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED IN YOUR WORK AS A MODEL/DESIGNER?

Judith: I see these girls who are so desperate they will do anything to try to build a career. My heart goes out to them. I see these agencies use them and pocket their money. Still they come back and let it happen again hoping they will breakthrough.

SMag: MAYBE ITS SOMETHING YOU WITNESSED AND DIDN’T PARTICIPATE IN, BUT COULD STILL SHOCK US, OR SHOW US THE OTHER SIDE OF THINGS BESIDES THE OBVIOUS.
Judith: Early in my career, I also had people promise me things but disappear when it came time to pay for my efforts.

SMag: WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 5 FAVOURITE UGANDAN MODELS AND DESIGNERS?
Judith: Actually, I like them all.

SMag: NOTHING PERSONAL BUT AS A DESIGNER/MODEL, IS THERE ANY MODEL/DESIGNER WHO MAKES YOU WISH THEY WERE DOING SOMETHING ELSE AND  NOT MODELLING / DESIGNING (i.e. MAKING YOU  HATE DESIGNING  JUST BECAUSE THEY TOO DO)?
Judith: Not at all. I wish everyone well. Why would I want to waste my time wishing bad things for other people.

SMag: SOME TIME BACK THE TABLOIDS SAID YOU WERE BROKE, DOES THIS MEAN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IS NOT SMART ..  LOL
Judith: It means they ran out of real news and had to make up stories to sell papers. If you drink alcohol, they say you are a drunk. If you decide to drink a soda instead of alcohol, they say you are broke. There is no protection in Uganda from unscrupulous reporters or the media.

Judith Heard Holds A Fashion Show In USA
SMag: UGANDAN CELEBRITIES WOULD DO ANYTHING TO BE IN THE PAPER’S. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT  BECAUSE YOU ARE ALWAYS IN THE PAPERS TOO.
Judith: Some do anything to get in the news. I'm happy to be left out. When I go to an event, I don't mind the media taking photos. That's their job. But I don't seek their attention. What good does it do?

SMag: YOU ARE THE FIRST UGANDAN TO COLLABORATE IN FASHION OUTSIDE UGANDA WHY THIS? DOES IT MEAN YOU ARE NOT SELLING IN UGANDA, HOW DID YOU GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER.. IS THIS DESIGNER UGANDAN ..  IF NOT  WHY?
Judith: I have been friends for some years with my partner. She loves fashion just as I do. She also lives in America where there is greater potential for a business like ours. It's natural that we would want to launch our business there.

Founders and designers Judith and Michelle are the perfect east meets west story; two African girls not only from opposite sides of their country, but of the fashion world as well. Judith, an internationally acclaimed model, and Michelle, an accredited fashion and wardrobe stylist, join forces to bring authentic African flare to a runway near you.

SMag: HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WORK OR LABEL (2africangirls).
Judith: A very modern and upscale label that designs clothing with a unique African look. It's hot, it's exciting and it's sexy. Celebs love our stuff.

SMag: YOU HAVE A BOUTIQUE IN UGANDA AND YOU ONLY SELL YOUR CLOTHING LINE IN THERE, WHY ?
Judith: We don't sell Two African Girls designs here yet. The market is much larger and the demand much greater in other parts of the world.

SMag: AS A MODEL, DESIGNER, SOCIALITE HOW DO YOU JUGGLE ALL THAT.
Judith: As I said earlier, priorities are very important. I keep first things first. For me, that means my husband, children and family. Everything else comes after that.

SMag: A LOT OF PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE A MODEL RATHER THAN A DESIGNER, HOW DO YOU DEFFERENTIATE MODEL, STYLIST, DESIGNER.
Judith: I was a model. That's how I got started. I've always loved fashion so it was pretty natural for me to move into fashion design next.

SMag: A NUMBER OF YOUR FOLLOWERS HAVE BEEN SEEKING ADVICE REGARDING CHEATING SPOUSES. HOW DO YOU DEFINE CHEATING AND WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH IT?
Judith: You are cheating if you are even emotionally involved with someone other than your companion. You cheapen yourself when you share what is special between you and your companion with another person. Don't let people use you in that way. Don't stay in a relationship with someone who is cheating on you. It will cost you your self esteem. You deserve better.

BEEFS”
SMag: YOU HAD A MISUNDERSTANDING WITH ZARI (THE BOSSLADY). ARE YOU   FRIENDS NOW AND WHAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP DO YOU TWO SHARE.
Judith: We have no problems between us. It took us a little while to see that our so-called misunderstanding was being fueled by the media. I wish her success and happiness in all that she does.

. WE ALSO HEARD RUMORS ABOUT YOU AND SYLVIA OWORI. WHAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP DO YOU BOTH HAVE NOW.

Judith: I don't see her very often but again, I have no ill will toward her. She was a pioneer in the fashion industry in Uganda. I give her props for that.

SMag: HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN PHYSICAL FIGHT? IF YES WHY, HOW MANY TIMES AND WHO WERE THEY WITH? WHO WON THE FIGHT?

Judith: Why would I need to strip that low? I have no need to fight and won't unless it's to protect my family.

SMag: DO YOU REGRET ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE?
Judith: You cannot live in this world without making mistakes. That means that sometimes you hurt those you love unintentionally. Of course, I regret anything that brings pain to those I cherish. That's part of living and learning.

SMag: ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY TO YOUR AND OUR READERS (AND I REALLY MEAN ANYTHING, LOL!)
Judith: Work hard, keep believing in yourself and in God. Stay true to your values. Delayed is not denied!

Heard's Bentley Is Her Baby
Judith Heard's Bentley
How many cars do you own?
I cannot count them off head, They must be close to twenty,  I am obsessed with cars and I wish I could have more.
SMag: LISTEN GIRL, IT’ HAS BEEN PLEASURE TALKING TO YOU. WE DO REALLY APPRECIATE TAKING THE TIME OUT OF YOUR BUSY SCHEDULE TO ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS, AND WE ARE HOPING YOU WILL KEEP US POSTED ABOUT ANYTHING HAPPENING IN YOUR CELEBRITY LIFE.
Judith: Thank you for taking the time to talk with me.
